Building a Travel-Tech SaaS Platform, End to End

How we took a travel-agency software idea from concept to a live web platform and native mobile apps — acting as the founder's full product and engineering team.

The situation

The challenge

The founder had a clear vision for a modern travel-agency platform — but a vision is not a product. Shipping it meant an entire product and engineering team: a real web application, native mobile apps, live travel-data integrations, automated onboarding, and the ongoing delivery to keep improving all of it after launch.

Rather than assemble and manage a scattered set of contractors, the founder wanted one accountable team to own the whole build. That is the role we stepped into — designing, engineering, shipping, and continuing to evolve the product alongside the founder.

The work

What we did

  1. 1

    Full-stack web platform

Designed and built the production web application at the core of the product — the interface travelers and agency partners actually use, engineered to grow feature by feature.

  2. 2

    Automated email-ingestion onboarding

Stood up a dedicated intake mailbox that parses incoming itineraries automatically, so travelers are onboarded without manual data entry.

  3. 3

    Live flight-data integration

Integrated a real-time aviation data source to power flight status, check-in reminders, day-of "leave-by" timing, and layover / connection guardrails.

  4. 4

    Native mobile apps

Shipped iOS and Android apps from one shared codebase — a traveler dashboard, trips overview, live destination weather, and a document wallet.

  5. 5

    Ongoing delivery

Kept a continuous roadmap moving: a multi-tenant partner portal for the agency layer, a disruption copilot, and regular feature waves — not a one-and-done launch.

The result

Outcomes

  • A live production platform serving real travelers, plus native apps on both mobile platforms.
  • Automated onboarding that removes manual itinerary entry.
  • Real-time flight awareness — status, reminders, and a layover guardian — built into the product.
  • An ongoing engineering partnership shipping new capabilities on a regular cadence.
FAQ

Common questions

Do you build full products, not just marketing websites?
Yes. Alongside our marketing work, we build and ship real software products — full-stack web applications and native mobile apps — and stay on as the ongoing product and engineering team. This travel-tech platform is one example.
Can one team really cover web, mobile, and data integrations?
That is exactly the model this founder chose over managing scattered contractors. One accountable senior team owned the web app, the iOS and Android apps, the third-party data integrations, and the automated onboarding — which keeps the product coherent and the delivery fast.
